AAC Audio Decoding¶
AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) is a lossy audio compression format used in streaming, broadcast, mobile, and MP4-family media. These decoder samples read AAC in ADTS format, where each compressed frame includes a synchronization header and enough stream information for sequential decoding.
These samples show how to decode AAC audio with TTranscoder::run from an ADTS file and with TTranscoder::pull when the application needs to receive decoded audio samples directly.
AAC ADTS Decoder (Run) - Decode an AAC/ADTS file to uncompressed WAV output with
TTranscoder::run.AAC ADTS Decoder (Pull) - Pull decoded AAC audio samples from the transcoder and write them to a WAV file.
